Salary:   Therapy Scales Band 7 £44,881 – £51,558 or 8a (salary to be discussed)
Employment Terms:   Full Time, Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours:   Core onsite hours 08:20 – 16:30 Monday to Thursdays. 08:20-15:40 on Fridays.
Start Date:   Dependent on candidate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Therapy  (Band 7/8a) with experience of working within a school environment or paediatric setting. You will be passionate about enhancing the students’ abilities to access their learning and be committed to embedding a holistic tiered model within the existing team.

Skills required:.

  • Recognised Degree level qualification
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience of working within a school or paediatric setting
  • Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
  • A great team player with a flexible “can-do” attitude
  • Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education Needs and Disabilities.
  • Patient, resilient and above all, a great sense of humour

Occupational Therapist – Band 5 or 6

Salary:   Therapy Scales £28,408 – £42,618
Employment Terms:   Full Time or Part Time, Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours:   Core onsite hours 08:30 – 16:30 Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. 08:30-17:30 on Wednesdays and 08:30-15:30 on Fridays.
Start Date:   Dependent on candidate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist (Band 5 or 6) with experience of working with SEND. You will use excellent clinical reasoning skills to make professional judgements and decisions based on assessment findings to support the work of the education and SEND teams.

Skills required:.

  • Recognised Occupational Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working with SEND
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
  • A great team player with a flexible “can-do” attitude
  • Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education Needs and Disabilities.
  • Patient, resilient and above all, a great sense of humour

Primary Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Primary phase teacher to teach one of our small primary classes to enable them to bridge the gap between KS1 and KS2. We would welcome applications from those with experience of KS1 and/or lower KS2. Open to ECT and more experienced teachers.

  • QTS
  • Experience of KS1 and/or lower KS2
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to think creatively and problem solve.

Marketing Officer – Part Time

Salary:   Band 7 £32,512 – £34,654 (actual £15,939 – £16,989 pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time marketing officer to oversea all the marketing functions at Undershaw. This will include managing digital communications, supporting fundraising and building local relationships with community groups.
