Fundraising

We are looking to create the gold standard in special needs education, providing young people with high quality education, training, therapy, and care to help them reach their full potential. To this end, each year we seek to raise money and welcome donations to furnish:

  • additional equipment

  • campus projects

  • additional activities for our students

Over the past few years, we have continued to adapt and modernise our campus across both our sites.  We have successfully raised funds for an Outdoor Classroom and NOAH (Nature, the Outdoors, Animals and Health) shelter which enables our popular Forest School sessions to take place all year round.  We have raised substantial funds to enable outdoor play equipment to be installed at our Undershaw campus, and most recently we have refurbished our library.

These projects aren’t possible without the tireless effort of staff, donors, and our community partners.  We are so grateful for every element of support, in whatever shape it comes.  From our friends in the community for staging events and naming us as Charity Partners, to notable local figures who lend their names to our new facilities and equipment, and to the numerous people who name Undershaw as their choice for leaving a legacy, we thank you all for your unrelenting support.

If you would like to name Undershaw as your chosen charity for leaving a gift in your will, please email fundraising@undershaw.education.

Our current fundraising project is to enrich our Performing Arts provision.  Our vision is to install an outdoor performance space at our Arts and Media Centre.  Please click this link for our latest Fundraising Focus.

Please follow the ‘Support us’ link below for direct donations to this project and help make a difference to Undershaw today.

Corporate Sponsorship

Become a Corporate Sponsor of one of our bespoke spaces. Our campus is teeming with facilities that benefit our students in such a multitude of ways and we would be delighted if you would join us in the quest to keep our facilities up to date, fit for purpose and a constant source of joy and well-being for our young people.

Our sponsorship packages are varied and are dictated by the space to which they relate. We currently have a range of spaces open for sponsorship:

  • Learning Dens (our ‘classrooms’ but with a home from home feel to ensure our students feel safe, happy and ready to learn)
  • Library
  • Forest School
  • Art Studio
  • Performing Arts spaces

If you have a business and are looking for ways to engage with a local charity under your Corporate and Social Responsibility Policy then please contact marketing@undershaw.education for more details on the many opportunities we have available.

Company Support

This a great way to give back to your local community, engage with your staff and increase customer engagement and there are many ways your company can get involved:

  • Charity of the Year
  • One-off donation
  • Volunteering
  • Gifts in Kind

Please contact marketing@undershaw.education to discuss any of the options listed above.
