Executive Headteacher Emma West said:
“We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students this year. Their results are a testament to their hard work, resilience and determination, as well as the strong partnerships between students, families and our dedicated staff. These outcomes reflect our commitment to ensuring every young person is supported to achieve their full potential. We are particularly pleased that 42% of all GCSE grades awarded were Grade 6 or above, representing another significant achievement for our school community. Many students have exceeded their target grades and shown remarkable perseverance in reaching their goals. These results have equipped them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to take their next steps successfully. We are delighted that a number students will continue their journey within our Post-16 provision, while others will progress to further education, apprenticeships and training pathways that reflect their aspirations and ambitions. We look forward to seeing them embrace the opportunities ahead and are confident they will continue to thrive and succeed.”
All of our students should be immensely proud of their achievements this year. Through dedication, perseverance and a commitment to their learning, they have deservedly secured results that reflect both their hard work and potential. They have every reason to celebrate their success, and the entire Undershaw community is proud to share in that celebration with them.
Several students deserve particular recognition for their outstanding achievements and exceptional progress:
Seb achieved an outstanding set of results, including one Grade 9, two Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and a BTEC Level 2 Merit, exceeding his target grade in every subject.
Molly achieved an excellent set of results, including two Grade 7s, three Grade 6s and a BTEC Level 2 Distinction.
Reece achieved strong passes across all subjects, consistently exceeding his target grades by three grades in every subject.
These results are a testament to the strength of our personalised approach to education and the determination shown by our students throughout their studies. We look forward to seeing what they achieve next as they continue their educational and career journeys.
Congratulations to all of our students on their success. We wish them every happiness and continued achievement in the future.
